Sunrise & sunset

When planning your photography sessions on the Emerald Coast, it's essential to consider how the sun sets & rises throughout the year. It is important to note that ONLY during the months of October, November, December, January, February, and early March, the sun sets & rises directly on the water horizon.

For a visual reference, please refer to the sketch, illustrating the sun's setting and rising position during these months.

Outfits

Tip 1

Choosing the perfect outfit and colors for your beach photography session can truly elevate the look and feel of your photos. Opting for light, airy fabrics like linen is a great choice—they flow beautifully in the ocean breeze and bring a relaxed, beachy vibe to your images. Colors such as whites, beiges, sage green, and champagne tones blend wonderfully with the natural surroundings of sand, sea, and sky, capturing the serene ambiance of the beach.

Tip 2

For outfit ideas and inspiration tailored to beach sessions, take a peek at my previous client sessions under the "Clients" page. You'll see how these colors complement the beach backdrop, helping you create outfits that reflect your style while harmonizing perfectly with the coastal scenery. Whether you're planning family portraits, engagement photos, or personal shots, these hues ensure timeless and elegant images that highlight the beauty of your beach setting.
